Magazines and Comics
When we conceived the world for our indie horror game demo, I knew that I wanted to create covers for magazines and comic books that could be found scattered around the world. I will try to continuously add more covers as I get them done. It is a fun way to inject some sense of humor in a very dark and gritty world.
It is also a nice meta way to introduce the popular webcomic Curly to those who have not heard of it before since the world is based upon the comics, but about other characters. Like an unseen episode of sorts!

Les Aventures de Inspector Rou Rou. A mock-up French/Belgian comic. These comics are very popular in Europe, with titles such as Tintin, Lucky Luke and Asterix. A great inspiration for our dachshund investigator!
Curly the cursed con man: The Lonesome Ghost. The very first horrific misadventure of Curly and still one of my favourites.
Curly the cursed con man: Leftovers. This chapter marked Khazal "Kaz" Malik's first appearance in Curly's world. They encounter inbred cannibal hillbillies, need I say more?
Curly the cursed con man: Silent Night. A totally dialogue free little experiment, whereas Curly meets a sexy femme fatale who wants nothing more than to sink her fangs into his neck.
Curly the cursed con man: Invertigo. Inspired by both Hitchcock and Saul Bass, Curly & Kaz stumbles upon a sour follower of Baal Zebub of Ekron and an angry teenage girl with strange powers.
Pascal the Rascal. A remnant of the happy 1930's classic cartoon era. Pascal the Rascal is nowadays a minor title that somehow survived long past its days of glory.
